About
Our History
“Vango” was the nickname of the co-owner and founder Clark Lambros’ father, whose full real name was Vangelis Lambropoulos. Vangelis, born in 1903, and his wife Asimina, born in 1906, were from Larrissa, Greece. Clark gives credit to his parents for the popular Greek recipes, which he brought from Greece to Marquette, that are being enjoyed by the valued customers here at “Vango’s”.

Vango's is the home of the oldest pizza parlor in Marquette. Located at 927 North Third at the corner of Park Street, we’re proud to be your neighborhood bar and restaurant.
We specialize in the freshest, homemade food in town. Our dough and sauce are made from scratch, and we use only the freshest vegetables for all of our pizzas, soups, salads, and daily specials. Come taste the difference and enjoy our warm, friendly atmosphere!
